Billy (Sean Hayes) é um fotógrafo gay que nasceu em uma pequena cidade de Indiana, mas se mudou para Los Angeles, pois só existiam heterossexuais na sua cidade natal, fazendo-o se sentir deslocado. Tendo uma predileção por Polaroids e cansado de ser "a outra", ele se apaixona por Gabriel (Brad Rowe), um garçom que aspira ser músico e aparentemente é heterossexual, mas tem um tendência homossexual ou pela menos um certa curiosidade sobre esta tendência. Billy tenta fazer de Gabriel o modelo masculino no seu projeto, que tenta refazer os mais famosos beijos hollywoodianos utilizando drag queens e diversos gays. Simultaneamente, ele tenta ganhar sua afeição.

Billy, a struggling young gay photographer (who likes Polaroids), tired of being the "other man", falls in love with Gabriel, a waiter and aspiring musician who is probably straight but possibly gay or at least curious. Billy tries to get Gabriel to model for his latest project, a series of remakes of famous Hollywood screen kisses, featuring male couples, while also trying to win his affections.
