To ensure photos from HX9V always sharp at all focal lengths, Sony has integrated into HX9V optical stabilization system (Optical Steady Shot). Users can safely when shooting with slower shutter speed to 3-level safety stops without risk of image blur caused by shaky hands.
Sony HX9V fully automatic shooting modes and multiplayer modes such as Intelligent Auto Smart Plus (iA +), but only the computer back on M mode so that users can manually adjust the parameters.
